:)My husbands family all arrived in Merthyr between 1841-1881.They are George and Leah Morgan.George was a blacksmithOne of their sons David was my husbands Grandfather.
John and Mary Morris who came from Trelech and Cilrhedyn.John was a miner.They appear on the 1881 Census with three children.Eiizabeth was the youngest.on the 1891 census she is living in the same area with a different family and listed as an orphan.She married David Morgan and was my husbands Grandmother.There is no oral tradition on either side as both these Grandparents died in 1935.
The other side were Evan Price Williams tailor and draper of Cefn who married Mary Ann Williams.One of their sons was John Thomas Williams who was the other Grandfather.His second wife Elizabeth Wilkins was born in Cyffig.
We are looking for anyone who is related to anyone in this tree who may have any information who can help us.
