How do I attachment a photograph

I am looking for some information on an old photograph of a gentleman in uniform.* In reading posting permissions it indicates "you may not post photographs' however there are a number of photographs posted on this thread.* Can someone tell me how others have been able to attache photographs on this thread?* ThanksJean C

Members tend to use a photograph uploading site such as Photobucket and then import the link.
