Southend trolley buses

Can anyone confirm, or otherwise, that during the 1950s at least, Southend ran single decker trolley buses. I seem to remember blue and white Southend Corporation single deckers running by Peter Pan's Playground. And should anyone have a photo of one I'd love a peek :)

Thanks to both of you. In reverse order, Ann, I did try that site, but didn't find what I was looking for. Michael, the ones I remember seemed "more modern", but, that'll do.
Thanks again, it's nice to know that the old memory wasn't playing tricks.
