I have found a reference to a 'Captain Neagle' . Captain of the 'Josephine Willis in a newspaper of February 1856. I would like to find out more about Captain Neagle but do not know where to start looking. Any help appreciated.

* looking on the 1881 census there was only 1 born early enough (1824) to captain a ship in 1856 but he was a tinsmith.
* of the 2 men above Chatham is almost on the coast if that's any help.
