Hi,
I was wondering if someone would look up the following in the Fulham (All Saints) 1891 census.
Johannah Kennedy, age @ 62, lived in Fulham (All Saints)
Margaret Madden, age @ 70, lived in Fulham (All Saints)
Was interested if place of birth is mentioned.
Thank you.

...Johannah Kennedy, age @ 62, lived in Fulham (All Saints)
Margaret Madden, age @ 70, lived in Fulham (All Saints)...Mary,
Is this the right one? In 1891, Johannah and her daughter are living at 4 Beckford Square in St Luke London in a one-room dwelling:
Name / Age in 1891 / Birthplace / Relationship to head-of-house / Occupation
Kennedy, Johannah 62 Limerick, Ireland Head [Widow] Fur Sewer
Kennedy, Bridget 24 St Luke, London Daughter [Single] Domestic Servant
Source information: RG12/233
Registration district: Holborn
Sub registration district: Whitecross Street
ED, institution, or vessel: 1
Folio: 4
Page: 2
I don't see Margaret MADDEN at first glance but will take a closer look...
Trish
Mary,
I don't see a Margaret MADDEN that quite fits -- here are the ones who were around 70 years of age in 1891:
Name / Age in 1891 / Birthplace / Relationship to head-of-house / Civil Parish / County
Madden, Margaret 73 Ireland Lodger Wolviston Durham
Madden, Margaret 75 IRL Inmate Liverpool Lancashire
Madden, Margaret 72 Blackheath, London Inmate Greenwich London
Madden, Margaret 65 Southwark, London Mother-in-law Shoreditch London
Madden, Margaret 68 Edinburgh, Scotland Pauper Mitcham Surrey
If any look like your Margaret, I can give you the household details.

Hi,
Thanks for looking for me. No that is not my great great grandmother Johannah Kennedy. I do know they lived in Fulham (All Saints). She never had a daughter named Bridget.
She died in 1892 at the Fulham Infirmary from a stroke.
Mary
P.S. Is there any Caseys in Fulham.

P.S. Is there any Caseys in Fulham.Mary, I just rechecked for Johanna and, no, I don't see her in Fulham [or anywhere else.] If I could search by place, I would try looking for her in the infirmary.
In regard to CASEYs, yes there are. In 1891, there are 8 listed as either born in Fulham or living in Fulham: 1 John, 1 Margaret, 3 Marys, 1 Mary A., 1 Sarah and 1 Thos -- 3 of them born in Ireland. Let me know if you want more information on any of them.
Mary, I just rechecked for Margaret...
Probably not yours but there is a Margaret HADDEN, 68 years old, in Fulham in 1891. She was born in Marylebone. I looked at the census image and it does look like HADDEN not MADDEN. She's listed as a mother-in-law to Walter Edwards, 32, a railway station inspector who is also living with his wife, Emily, 30, dressmaker, and a boarder William Franklin, 21, railway porter at 19 Alderville Street.
