thank you very much for ideas. Mr Google works everytime like a first and several RAF Forums too. Unfortunately I´m not a relative of this airman and authorised individual, due to this fact I can´t ask RAF Cranwell for service record. Tell me what can I do in this matter.

Try the London Gazette online research facility. Its a bit complicated but you might be able to tie up some details.... Also try rafcommands.com forum as they are really helpful with RAF stuff in general.
