My great grandfather was killed on the railway in 1928. I am trying to find a copy of any report into the accident. As it did not involve a member of the travelling public, I would assume it would not have been heavily publicised, but at least there should be an internal report somewhere, or even a local paper?

In the 1911 census, his trade is described as "asphalter Great Eastern Railway", which I would think is some kind of track worker. He lived around the Stratford / West Ham area, and so I would think the incident would have happened around that section of the route out of Liverpool Street.

Does anyone know if any records would have gone to Kew perhaps? Or anyone with specialist knowledge. Any information gratefully received.
