repatriation of Alderney

After WW2 my Grandfather Fred Tyler became minister of works for aldnery.(I believe) Any information on what he may have done or worked?

Hi Ralphcat. Google "Alderney after WWII" and there are several articles about the British Government's involvement after WWII. It was a complex and rather unique set or circumstances.

My parents evacuated from nearby Jersey just before the occupation and I know from my own research that there is a lot of occupational and post WWII archival information available for the islands.
