The PNW is a slangy way of saying I live in the Pacific Northwest of the US, in Oregon, to be exact. Otherwise known as the rainy, dreary corner .

Ahhhhhh but Portland, Oregon is one of the most vibrant, beautiful parts of the USA I have ever visited. Perhaps because of the rain?

Portland is nice, although I am glad I don't live in it. I am about a 45 minute drive south of the city, in a tiny little town with the same name as my own last name, living on the same road that my husband grew up on, and raising our kids here as well. I belive my kids are the 6thor 7th generation of family to live on the same street here in this area of Oregon..yadda yadda...lol. I just married into the group ! Thats it ! Nothing else !
