hi looking for parents of a john keath 1809 married to an elizabeth with children henry, naomi, martha, josiah. i have spoken to a few people on the net and they have said that his parents were a john keath and elizabeth heffer with siblings thomas, richard,mary ann,elizabeth, john and joanna , but others say this cannot be. I found my john keath 1809 registered as 1811 on the 1841 census there's also a john and elizabeth on the same sheet with other children where do i start to find his true parents any help would be greatly appreciated

hi looking for parents of a john keath 1809 There is the christening of John Keath in Stapleford on the IGI with parents John and Elizabeth. The event took place on 23rd June 1809 in Stapleford and, as it is an extracted record, should be okay.
I found my john keath 1809 registered as 1811 on the 1841 census there's also a john and elizabeth on the same sheet with other children where do i start to find his true parents any help would be greatly appreciatedRemember - ages were rounded down to the nearest 5 years on the 1841 census so this John could have been born anywhere between 1806 and 1811.
