Jane Parry b 1855 Llanrhaiadr ym Mochnant

My great grandfather is Robert Parry who was born 1853 in Tinyfedw, Llanrhaiadr-ym-Mocnant. He had a sister Jane born abt 1855 who was living with her father in Tinyfedw, Llanrhaiadr-ym-Mochnant until he died abt 1894. I understand she married abt 1895 and her first and perhaps only child was born in 1896. Does this Jane Parry ring a bell with anyone? There are many Jane Parrys who got married in Wales in 1894-5 so it is difficult to know which one. I noticed a Griffith Parry born in 1896 in that area but it is just a longshot right now.

When I started to look for Jane's marriage and birth of a child I used years, location and Jane Parry's name to help sort things out. I found a Jane Parry married Richard Jones in Llanfylin in 1895. In 1896 I noticed a son Griffith Jones born 1896 in Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant. There are a number of Jane Parrys and I thought perhaps someone may have another take on the situation.

Your have the right family but Robert Parry is 8 not 18. If you look at the actual enumerator's sheet you will notice vertical check marks all the way down in the male age column. The transcribers for the computer look up erred. I have Robert's birth certificate and also his parents marriage certificate.

Jane was living with her father Thomas Parry in the 1891 census for Gartheryr, he died after this census and before 1895.

I was wrong to use the surname Parry for Griffith, however, the surname maybe Jones born in 1896. The reason I'm looking at the christian name Griffith is we have an old photograph taken in WW2 with the name Uncle Griffith on the back. It appears to be both grandparents in front with 2 granddaughters in front and 2 young men and 3 young women in the back row. I only know 1 of the men. There is a Griffith Jones born 1896 in Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant and a Richard Jones and Jane Parry were married in Llanfylin in 1895. If nothing new turns up I'll and get certs for what I have at the mopment

I have found Jane Parry's family. She married Evan T. Davies Aug. 24, 1894. Their son Evan Thomas Davies was born May 1, 1896 in Llanrhaeadr.
