This is a centenary history of state education in Victoria, Australia. It was published by the Education Department of Victoria in 1973. Printed by The Government Printer, Melbourne. This rather fat volume lists schools, their foundation dates and in many cases names foundation students. The history of the school is given, sometimes early teachers are named. The information varies as it was provided by the head master of the school in 1973 and varies from a few lines to lots of detailed information.
