Can not find hide nor hair of him.

There is however a Henry T Mansell at school in Wales - perhaps he has been recorded incorrectly? There are other pupils from Liverpool there but no other Mansells.

I'm sure that's my Henry. I have his parents and siblings in Twyford, Shropshire on the 1871 census.

Do you have access to 1861 census ?

He should be with his father - Andrew Jones Mansell b.1834 Salop, Oswestry and mother - Mary b.1827 Salop, West Felton and his sister Louisa Mary Mansell b.1856 Salop, Oswestry.
