HORN grandchildren in ROSIE family

I found something interesting when I searched the 1871 census. I found my great-great-great-great-grandparents, George and Jane ROSIE. Living with them were 2 females: their widowed granddaughter, Jane HORN, and her daughter, also Jane HORN (4 months). I have no idea about the generation in between... Was Jane HORN's maiden name ROSIE? Or was she the daughter of George and Jane's daughter (who would have had another name)?

I'm particularly interested in finding out, since I have the surname HORNE in my family as well, and family lore has it that the HORNEs came from Caithness as well.

Does anyone have these names (HORN/ROSIE) in their tree?
