Which Riding?

I Have interests in the INGLEBY family of various areas, Burnsall, Pately Bridge, Ripon, Sawley and York but am uncertain as to which Riding they relate. Perhaps somebody could help me here.

They all come under the North Riding, but York is technically separate from the Ridings and stands alone. Most would group York into the North Riding for convenience
