Richard Hoskins

Hello everyone,

I am looking for any information regarding Richard Hoskins b Burton on Trent in c1660, married Alice Price in 1680 and started a long line of Hoskins children. I know that in the early 1700's he bought what was then the Ivy House Estate in Stoke on Trent, I think he had many other business and land deals on the go aswell. Any information would be gratefully received, although I already have his descendants to the present day. I would love to find out who his father was.

Can't help with Richard Hoskins unfortunately but you can find information on the Ivy House estate at :

They may be able to help you further if you contact them. Incidentally I used to live at the bottom of Ivy House Road in Hanley !
