My father was born 1899 in or near Ratnew his name was Joseph Francis Devlin. He also had connections in Bray Co Wicklow, He had a sister called Ann who I believe went to live in Wales. Other family connections were McGrath and pos. Curtis. Can anyone help in tracing my roots, please.

You should think about getting your father's birth certificate, to confirm his birthplace and also his mother's maiden name. Then you can get your grandparent's marriage certificate to trace back further.
