Hello All,
I am new to this Forum and could be classed as being frustrated. I have been trying to trace my Great Uncle, Frederick Edward Woodley, born 1878 at St.George, Denbighshire, Wales. I have him in 1891 Census living with his parents in Hampshire. After that there is no sign of him in the 1901 or 1911 Censuses or Deaths and Marriages. I don't know if he served in the Boer War or not but do have note of an F. Woodley, Rifleman, 8275, 4th. Battalion The Rifle Brigade (Prince Consort's Own). As he was the son of a Huntsman I think that he may well have known how to use a rifle. I have been into the NA website and found WO 97/6292 but am finding it very difficult to proceed any further. Would be very grateful if anyone could tell me the next steps.|banghead|
