I'm looking for the marriage of my ggg grandparents Charles BASTIN & Denis BARBER.
The oldest child that I know of was born c. 1834 in Highdean / Highelm ? - the 1861 census image was difficult to read.
My gg grandfather was born in 1836 and baptised in London Street Independant Church, Basingstoke. The register says that he was born in Basingstoke Parish.
There's a strong non-conformist streak in the family though they do turn up in Anglican records from time to time. I'm hoping that a marriage might be one of those occasions!
If anyone can help I'd be very very grateful.
