These forums are invigorated by new members coming to the forums with their new research problems - but one of the reasons for the great success of the forums is the long time members who have provided so much help to others.

So, congratulations and thanks to Peter Goodey on passing 7,000 postings on the forums. His help is invaluable to everyone and long may it continue.

Congatulations Peter.

Your contributions are always most welcome and so informative. One of the big plusses of this forum is having members such as you and Geoffers, as well as many others, who devote their time helping others with your vast knowledge of the many subjects that are raised.

Long may you continue to make your presence felt. For my part I never tire of reading your input and learning from your comments. All this praise is so warranted.

Regards

Jack

Can I add my congratulations also.

Your posts are often short and to the point. The point being the one that I always seem to miss and you pick up on so well.
Your knowledge and experience seems to make a huge brick wall into manageable steps.

I hope the forum will always have a little bit of your life. ;)

I should really go and get a life.

As long as it still involves Brit-Gen ....!!!
My thanks, too, for your invaluable contribution.

You've already got a very much appreciated one here on BG - what do you want another one for? :D
I noticed the other day that you were rapidly approaching the 7K - then I blinked and missed the moment.
Congratulations and a huge thank you from me too Peter.

Congratulations Peter! ;) Your wealth of knowledge is amazing. We all appreciate your depth of knowledge from the Newbie (like me) to those that have been researching for many years.
Well Done!
