Hi all,
My Uncle Peter Maguire lived at 16 Prospect Avenue up to the time of his death in 1956....he was a Blacksmith and worked very close to home.
Unfortunately childhood memories being what they are, I can only vaguely remember visiting him at his home and workplace (which I seem to remember was close to the cemetery)......I also seem to remember the name Primrose Terrace. I checked my Thom's directory today and there was a reference to Primrose Terrace, and that it was on Prospect Avenue.
Is there anybody living near there who could see if number 16 was still there, or if there is a Primrose Terrace.....a photograph would be lovely, but is a bit much to ask.
This is the first part of a two-part posting.....the next one will be looking for help finding any of his descendants.
