In 1947 my great grandparents moved from an old isolated farmhouse in Dewsbury, to The Cock and Bottle Inn at Bank Top Southowram, to live with their daughter Annie Scott who ran the pub with her husband Horace. They remained there until their deaths in 1955 and 1956. I think Annie ran the pub until the early 60s. I am trying to find out when Annie moved to the pub and when she left. I have a photo of the pub in the early 1950s showing a group of women outside, it includes Annie and my great grandma Mary Ethel Dewhirst.
