For the Crawcour relatives and researchers particularly those interested in the Crawcour dentists see the British Library Newspapers 1800-1900 online site.
The site contains almost 2000 records mainly advertisements of several of the Crawcour individuals.

The advertisements for Samuel Crawcour 1748-1816 the progenitor of all Crawcours worls wide shows that he was travelling around the country including Hull 1800; Ipswich 1800; Oxford 1801 and calling himself Samuel Crawcour Senior- his London address 327 Strand.
The addresses for the London home base vary as his sons also engaged in itinerant dental practice and include 13 Holywell Street; 439 Strand and in 1815 at least one Crawcour had moved to Barnfield Crescent Exeter and purchased a house for his detal practice- possibly Moses Crawcour who had a subscription noted in an Exeter newspaper. Barnett Crawcour was in Hull in 1808 before settling in Norwich in 1809.
The Crawcour dentists also went to Belfast in 1831.

For American and other researchers interested in UK dental practices during the 18th and 19th Century it would prove useful to consult the British Library Newspaper site to gain an informed overview of trade practices particularly itinerant dentists.
