My parents were married 7 December 1944 - the church s unknown probably located in the general Cadnam area. Can anyone identify this church?

Do you have their marriage certificate? It should tell you where they married.

looking at your photo it could be Cadnam Methodist Church which has a similar looking porch on their website.
see this http://www.hgs-online.org.uk/HGS_Pictures/cd_mc.htm

Hi Ray,

I'm afraid Cadnam is one of those strange villages with no parish church as such, it does have a Methodist chapel though. It's one of those sprawling villages with no heart.

I suggest you have a look at www.genuki.org.uk if you look under Minstead it will give some of the churches in the area

If you have some idea of their religion it might shorten the list for you

What does the marriage certificate give? Have you tried the Hampshire (http://www.british-genealogy.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=83) forum - more local knowledge possible there!

You must obtain the marriage certificate, not only for the name of the church but for the genealogical data that you will need to take this further.
