This request has been posted on other site's, and although I have received some helpful advice as to where to look, ie all RC Churches have been checked I am still unable to find where the following are buried.

William Bonney died 1854 and his wife Catherine who died 1851

Can anyone help please.

Thanks Margie.

Have you tried contacting the local libraries, record offices, etc? See www.genuki.org.uk (http://www.genuki.org.uk) for contact details. I think the History Shop is closed at the moment for renovations.

Thanks to you both yes Wigan History Shop did a free half hour search for me, but could not find them, I am at a loss as to where to try next.

Have you got the death certs that would state their residences? Could they be in a pauper's grave or could they be cremated? I don't know where you would look for those records.
