Mother of William Gage

My great grandfather William Gage [Geadge/Gadge/Gedge] would seem to have been illegitimate. His birth is given as abt. 1826, King Street, Norwich (1851 Census, etc.). This is the only reference to Norwich, his abode thereafter until he migrated with his family to Hull, Yorks., was Little Ellingham. His marriage certificate, gives his father as a Thomas King, occupation gardner. I have managed to trace a Thomas King as beng born in Little Ellingham, abt. 1796 and to have Lived in Great Ellingham (1851 Census) and Rockland St Peter (1861 Census), he died in 1865, I believe this to be Williams father. But so far I have drawn a blank as to who his mother was. Is there anyone out there who can shed some light upon this?
