Looking for any information on Emily Pawley Jeynes born c1864, Bromley, Kent
moved to East Yorkshire and married William Henry Pearson 1883 Hull, E Yorks.

I had a look on Ancestry for her but no joy. Strange surname could be easily misheard. Do you have her parents names to try and find her?

Try searching the 1871 for Emily PAWLEY in Bromley or thereabouts.

Just one of the several things worth checking in the case of an unusual middle name. Also from the 1861 index I could see several PAWLEYs in Bromley :)

But is this Emily the right one? I think the ball's in PhilA's court to get the 1883 marriage certificate to find out who she claimed her father was. Trouble is they didn't always state the name of the biological father...
