WILLIAM JOHN PICKEN, born 1819 Shifnal, Shropshire, married SARAH WHITEHOUSE, apparently born 1812 Bloxwich, Staffs, in London in 1841.
I cannot find any further trace of them in London, nor in Shropshire, and I wonder whether they settled somewhere in the Walsall, Cannock, Wolverhampton area.
I shall be glad to hear from anyone who may be able to throw some light on their whereabouts after 1841. SARAH's father is given in the marriage cert. as MATTHEW WHITEHOUSE, Capt.
