A friend is searching for info. on his grandfather. He just picked up his father's birth cert. and was surprised by his grandfather's middle name. Anyone know a directory where his grandfather would be listed ?

John's father ....another John was b. 27th Dec. 1915 while his grandfather was fighting in WW1 in France. So any directory before this might help. His grandfather was killed over there so never saw his son.

Kelly's Directories for 1894 and 1914 are online.

I couldn't find any mention in those of John Wilson, Butcher.
