I have to share this brilliant website and it's free with brilliant information on thousands of names of immigrants. I have just spent the last few hours looking through it. It's absolutely wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed looking through it. I will certainly be paying it another visit.

Yes, I spent ages looking through 'Old Irish Newspapers', fascinating!!! What part of Lancashire are you living? I'm from Warrington.

Yes, the worlds only a village now. I always promised my Mum I would research her family tree (Irish). My Dad, who is 84yrs this year has done his side (English). He is wonderful to be able to do it at that age. Both he and I have a bit of an obsession with it.
