Looking for info re follwoing people

Martha HAMILTON & John PRENTICE. Married In Shotts parish 1845. Had at least 1 son William.
No further info so far,

Robert CUNNINGHAM & Christina SCOTT. Married 1855 in Hamilton. Had at least 1 child Annie b1856.

Any info re these families appreciated.

Managed to get more info form a kind person relating to John PRENTICE & Martha HAMILTON

They had 7 children in total all born lanark area,
I have not been able to get any birth records of John & Martha as yet ,mainly because Lanark covers such a wide area. I don't have specific area they were born in.
Martha reads on census as Glasgow, Lanarkshire & John reads Lanark.

Can anyone suggest anyway i can find anything else. They both have quite common names .

Can anyone tell me where i would be able to get access to Lanarkshire census for 1841 & 1851. I have a bit more information regarding the families now and the areas they were in when there children were born. I am interested in Calton. High Church, Shotts, Barony.

Not sure where to go from here.
