Hi
I have been give memoirs written by my nana who died last year.In them she says that her grandfather (unknown)Gunther and wife Mary(nee swartz)moved to India.Madras area. He was a wine trader and they had two children either before or in India she didn't know. One was Leonard Alexander Gunther (her dad) the other a girl called May.The children were born around1885-95
my question is where do I look to findout about any of them without full names and dates?Also is there anyway of confirming he really was in the wine trade or did he just sell it/drink it etc!
