Good afternoon from Raleigh, North Carolina. Was successful in getting my grandad's WW I record from the Canadian Archives (wounded at Ypres, PPCLI). Now looking for info on his Boer War career, wherein he was also wounded, but, I believe, this time as a British soldier, maybe with a unit of the Highland Light Infantry, or a militia. Name: George Horace Perry, b. 12/04/1883. Where would someone out there suggest I start? Thanks a million.
