I am trying to find out the name of the Parish Church of Tonbridge in 1834.

An ancestor appears in the 1871 census as born in Buxted but have checked the parish records there and no baptism (nothing close in date or name). I have also checked the 1841 Buxted census and he is not there either.

On the 1861 census, place of birth is shown as Tonbridge - this may be wrong of course (his wife was born there as well) but I need to check the records - he died before 1881 census.

From what I can find out, it would appear to be the church of St Peter & St Paul?

Is there an Online Parish Clerk scheme for Kent?

Any pointers gratefully received.

Look at the genuki site. They are bound to have it - or the kent look up exchange.

Correct.

Also Tunbridge Wells from 1833 (Holy Trinity)

Tonbridge, Southborough, the church of "St. Peter with Christ Church" has Baptismal records commencing 1831.
