A Query from a member of my English Genealogy Facebook Group

His query is, on a record he has from the 1861 Scottish census, regarding the terminology used.

It states that Nicholas Labone born around 1833 was a "(Nattson No 3 Brith Subject),". What does this mean please?

It seems to be a mistranscription ;)
Looking at the image (rather than the index), I believe it reads

Austria (Naturalised Brit[is]h Subject)
