i wonder if anyone can help me i am trying to locate my grandfathers grave but i am having no luck whatsoever
i know he died at home in new moston
his name ERNEST LEVI BAGLEY
died 1969 aged 79 (registered dec quarter)
i have tried all the local cemerties and they cant find anything for either a burial or even a cremation
has anyone else got any clues on how to locate it
i do know it was local as my mum did tell me that but where ?

What religion was your grandfather? It may help to narrow it down a bit. Also take a look at

Ann,
Have you tried Blackley cemetary ?
There is also a stonemasons called McGarry`s in moston. He may have some record of it.
Kind regards
Terry

Hi ann,
I hope you don`t find this a little morbid but he may have left his body to Manchester Uni for research. The bodies are usually cremated within 2yrs. with a service.
Don`t know if I should have mentioned this, but it`s a consideration

Regards
Terry
