Hello David John - welcome to Brit-Gen

Llandrindod Station (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Llandrindod_railway_station) opened in 1865. It looks to have been served by the Central Wales Railway, which was absorbed into the LNWR soon afterwards.

I also found this photograph (http://www.oldukphotos.com/graphics/Wales%20Photos/Radnorshire,%20Llandrindod%20Wells,%20Rail%20Stati on.jpg) (undated)

You're welcome, Dave http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee187/Jan_07/curtsey.gif

Hopefully, a couple of the railway buffs will be along over the weekend and be able to advise you further.

Try The National Railways Museum at York (Use a search engine and its web-site turns up easily enough). They have a large phorographic collection and archive of other material. The NRM is creating an online 'Search Engine'.
