Hi there
Can anyone help me, I'm looking for a date of death/burial of Isabella Woodham, wife of Lieutenant William Henry Woodham Coast guard Officer based at Westhaven. She was the daughter of Phillip Duhgie Esq. and was born at St Helier Jersey. She died sometime between 20 Oct 1837 and 5 July 1839. I have a document stating they are of the parish of Panbride in the County of Forfar this is dated July 1839 and she is listed as dead.

My Dad was from Forfar & I used to spend many happy hours in Forfar library. They have a great family history section with many [if not all] of the local church records, plus local history books, censuses. If you get stuck for a reply on the forum, contact their librarians.

By the way, Panbride & Forfar are not in Fife. They are in Angus. The county was formerly known as Forfarshire & Forfar is the old county town.

Hi Wirral
Thank you for your advice and happy memory, I worked out that it was Forfar Angus, not Fife today.

Best wishes
