Hello

I am trying to track down a marriage certificate for a member of my family with no luck so far. To try another route, I am trying to find the maiden name of the wife on the marriage certificate. I know her christian name from the census returns.

My first line of enquiry is to try and track down the birth/baptism records for Mary. Here are the details I have so far:

Name: Mary A.
Born: c 1852, Islip, Northamptonshire

As Islip is a small parish, I'm hoping that there aren't too many Marys born between these dates. Could someone please point me in the right direction...

Many thanks
Helen
