Looking for Pyett+ Whistlecroft familys whos descendants originate from Suffolk .John Pyett born 1836 Debenham Suff.John Whistlecroft born 1826 Debenham Suffolk.I believe the familys are connected.Any info would be of interest.

Have you made any progress with your Pyetts, Whistlecrofts & Ranicars? I have found the last 2 names in the 1851 census index for Hindley (index only, don't have the census). Also found John Pyett in 1841 census in Debenham, + family, +possible grandfather, +possible great-grandparents. Let me know if you do not have details.

Hi Wirral, Thanks for the offer of info from 1841 on my Pyett family i would be very interested in the details you have .I have the Whistlecrafts back to 1700s but only have Pyett census for 1851 shows Robert+Susan with children no sign of Roberts parents .Many Thanks Tony.My E-Mail is [email protected].
