In the GRO Index 1888 vol 11a p 456 3Q Deaths of Edwin Gwyther age 30 and Henry Gwyther age 17. Edwin was a blacksmith apparently living and working in Pembroke Dock. Am curious to know what might have occurred during that time frame.

I have not been able to find a birth or anything else relating to him except for the census 1861, 1871 and 1881. He married but don't know who to and had a couple of children, their births I can't confirm, but have marriage and death details.

It is this specific date in 1888 that I am mostly curious about.

Thank you Julie - Don't know how I missed that one - I only ever found an Edward and the wrong date. |bowdown| I know the death reg would have been a rough guess if it had been accidental and the person registering the death didn't really know his birth date.

Finbar thank you I will look into it. You are always helpful as ever |hug| (I got sidetracked reading the history of Pembroke Dock :o )
