I am looking for the Taylor / Turner / Bickmore families.

Thomas TAYLOR was married to Elizabeth BICKMORE ca 1830. Their son Edward was christened 17 Mar 1833 at Capel Saint Mary in Suffolk. Edward married Anne Turner at St Matthews, Sutton Bridge, Lincolnshire in 1856 and they lived in various places including Wainsfleet, Kirton on Lindsey, Durham and London before emigrating to New Zealand in 1873.

Thomas and Elizabeth had several other children, place of birth unknown: Rebecca (?b. 1830, ?m. FORREST) , Mary (?b. 1834), Sophia Howard (?b. 1841, d. 1942) Deborah (?m. BUNN or MORTIMER), and Anne (?m. MARSHALL).

Elizabeth Bickmore may belong to the Bickmores living in Kelvedon near Colchester in Essex, the most likely candidate from the IGI for Elizabeth seems to be Elizabeth Christened 18 APR 1813 at the Independent Protestant Dissenters, Kelvedon, parents Isaac and Sarah.

The Turners lived in the Nene lighthouse near Sutton Bridge in Lincolnshire ca 1830 (later made famous by Sir Peter Scott) and appear to have been a family of Sea Captains.

Many thanks for any assistance you con provide

Thanks Meerten
I have just gained access to the Ancestory database and found the 1871 census record last night. The family travelled a lot and so it is very hard to pin them down.

Your help is most appreciated!

Kind regards

Murray
