I thought I would put this on about a new TV series which started last thursday on BB2 at 9.00pm. Bascially 3 people are taking over a farm for a year and farming as the victorians did. I watched the first episode last week and am as yet undecided as to what I think of the program. But I thought it might be of interest to anyone else with farmers/farm lab. Been quite new to all this research I hope it will give me some insight to build on.

It looks like there are some other people (http://www.british-genealogy.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39834&highlight=farm) interested in the programme as well, tine27 ;)

I liked the programme very much as my great grandfather was a farm labourer and also my mum was in the land army in the second world war, and says alot of what the farm implements they used were the same as then, and she also enjoys it very much as she remembers the wash days in her own childhood as like that.
