Family lore has it that my great great great (or more) grandfather moved to Kent to a farm bailif, sometime between 1815 and 1830. I am intrigued to have stumbled on Hayesmore Farm, therefore. Please, does any one know of any Hayesmore history in the Great Milton area, any survivors in Oxfordshire, or even the present occupiers of Hayesmore Farm?

I've tried OS maps of Gt Milton and the local Yellow Pages - no trace of Hayesmore farm in Gt Milton - I guess that it has changed its name.

Also, no trace of the farm with that name on old-maps.co.uk and assuming that Hayesmore is a name you are researching, no trace on the 1881 census.

Finally, no one of that name in the Oxford 'Phone book.

Sorry
