Tilson - lightermen in Wapping

Am looking for any information on a Joseph Tilson (b1799) and his son Thomas (b1832) who were watermen/lightermen/bargemen in the Wapping area. Thomas was working the river from the 1851 census until the 1901.

I have seen this site and read about some of the lightermen who worked the river. I think I was hoping that someone else may have come across the family in their research. I think I now need to find their apprenticeship binding information. Thanks again.
