Since the apparent demise of Aol Hometown, does anyone know what has happened to Kevin Asplin's military resources site? Or for that matter Rob Cottrell's site for Thamesside/Medway parishes and watermen/lightermen (Trueflare)? All this data is very much missed.

I'm sure you won't mind Kerrywood, but I have changed the title of this thread so that it will show up better and help people in Useful Online Resources as well as being in the military section.

Edit: Oops! Just seen the second part of this request. May have to change the title again!

I found Rob Cottrell's Truflare site by entering the old URL into the Wayback Machine at http://www.archive.org/index.php and clicking on July 2007, the last update on AOL. This should give you some contact points, but as it appears to be a commercial site I can't give further details on here.
