Help to identify and date photo

I have searched many sites to try to discover the regement of this young soilder who is a relative of mine. just spent a while tryin to work out how to upload the photo.. so to get a close up shot will take a while.

D, its possible that he could have been an Engineer Sergeant as he has a flaming bomb above the chevrons on his right arm. also as he is shown wearing breeches and a bandolier he was in a mounted section.
