CHATTERTON Robert William 1876 - 1939

This person was my Maternal Grandfather and farmed near Christchurch. He married Rebbeca ??? probably around 1905. My mother Irene was an only child.

I need help - Who was Rebecca?
- Were was he born, and who was his Family?

Any help will be appreciated. I know that he was closely related to the Chatterton's around Dunsandel but cannot seem to locate how?

Your mother's birth certificate will give you her mother's maiden name.

If a New Zealand marriage certificate of this time gives full parental information, it would also be a useful item to have.
