Hi
I have a John GREEN who died aged 78 (in Lambeth I believe) on 28 April 1893. He was a master baker.
Is there any way I can find out if he made a will ?

I know there was a court case, presumably about a will, which involved the GREEN family, but it is my belief that this was to do with "my" John GREEN's father. I have a part pedigree drawn up for the Chancery Division of the High Court, Mr Justice Romer presiding.Sadly there is no date on the page (although a note of the above John's death in 1893 indicates the paper is later than that) and no further papers to do with this case have been found.

If anyone has any ideas on how to proceed with either of these problems I'd be very grateful.

I did a double take on the name John Green, as I have had this name sneak up on me as a possible father of my John Jarvis!!! Yet to be proven....but causing me untold problems. Good luck Gail, hope you find what you are looking for.
