Hi everyone

I am seeking information about an ancestor, Thomas (Tot) Lee Dryden who was a travelling vaudeville singer and dancer in Newcastle Upon Tyne in the late nineteenth and early 20th centuries.

He was part of a duo called "Tot and Feaney".

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Neil

Hi, yes that is he. I did have that info thank you. I was hoping to find some kind of records kept on entertainers. I'd love to know more about his singing career. All I have is hear say so far.

Much appreciated :-)

Hi Neil,

On a similar theme, I found quite a lot about a particular Music Hall singer in the '19th Century British Library Newspapers', which I accessed through a subscription at my library. Lots of material on entertainers in the papers.

Best wishes,

Lenore

Or you could google "The Stage Archives". It only costs £5 for a 24 hour pass and you can often find a lot of information on artists, if only adverts for their performances.
